Rob Blair

Rob Blair has been the Senior Pastor since July, 2021. Rob has been involved in ministry all his life. He has the DNA of Family of Christ and flows with the Holy Spirit beautifully. He is gifted in teaching, prophecy, wisdom and leading. Pastor Rob listens to the Holy Spirit and relays the love of God and leads people in embracing their heavenly identity. He loves to worship and embraces revival culture. Rob has been married to Shelda since 1992. They have three grown children and a grandson.

Rita Osborn

Rita is our Administrative Pastor (she manages all of the day to day happenings), Pastoral Care director, an Elder, a certified life coach and the heart and soul of Family of Christ Church. Her heart is for people to know and to be known by the Father Heart of God. She has a passion for people and for helping them to find wholeness. Rita and her husband Brad have two beautiful daughters, a wonderful son-in-law, the most perfect orange cat, and own a local window cleaning business.

Patricia Wendt

Pat and her husband, Craig , have been a part of Family of Christ Church since the early 80's. Pat planned many vacation bible schools, led the women's ministry and youth ministry. Her training was as a Family Nurse Practitioner, practicing locally until 1997. In 1997 Pat and Craig and children left for training with YWAM (Youth With a Mission), returning 5 months later. Subsequently, Pat has participated in and has led mission trips around the world. After completing her time in medicine, she worked in various roles at Harbor Light Christian School in Harbor Springs. The last several years acting as Assistant Administrator, Guidance Counselor, Missions Coordinator, and International Coordinator.

The Wendt family has six children (one in Heaven), four son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law, and three informally 'adopted' international 'kids' as well as 9 grandchildren.

Pat has a 'mother heart' and has a passion for people to know that they are loved unconditionally and that they have a unique identity and place in this world as they walk in intimacy with the Lord

'The Bridge' Pastor

WOW - How 5 decades have flown by!

Shortly after High School, Robb began his career with Wisconsin Electric
Power. During his tenure there, he attended college full-time and graduated
from Cardinal Stritch University with a degree in Business Management.
In 1994, Robb left WEPCO to begin his career as a State Farm Agent in
Petoskey, MI. It is there that he met the love of his life, Phyllis who is a
native of Northern MI.
In addition to State Farm, Robb is the founding pastor of The Bridge -
Petoskey, a non-traditional ‘Oasis” that believes that no matter what your
Hurt, Habit or Hang-up may be, full and complete healing are available for
every person.
Phyllis leads the Transformation Ministries for Family of Christ and is a
regional Director for Bethel Sozo.
Robb and Phyllis Burkee have retired as Associate Senior Leaders at
Family of Christ Church in Petoskey, Michigan.
Their senior leadership role was primarily related to inspiration and visioning while seeking tools for relationships that propel people forward in their calling.
Over the past two decades, the Burkee’s primary calling has been to bring
healing and wholeness to leaders in the body of Christ.
Phyllis and Robb have 5 Children and 8 Grandchildren. In addition to
spending time with family(spread across the US), Robb and Phyllis are avid
pickleball players. You’ll find them on courts across Northern MI and in SW
Florida in the winter months.

Mary Lechowicz

Mary Lechowicz has attended the church since 2002 and has been actively involved with children most of her life as and been our Children’s Pastor since 2021. Mary is dearly loved as she nurtures and cares for the children so beautifully. The atmosphere in the classrooms is fun, creative, and full of Jesus’ love! Mary has been married to Denny Lechowicz since 1990 and they have three grown daughters and one granddaughter. They reside in Petoskey with their two dogs, Leo and Luke.

Thursday Night Leaders

A team of leaders who facilitate our Thursday Night Gathering, a time we gather for prayer, intercession, worship, and prophetic ministry. The team have hearts for prayer, prophetic and presence. Their hearts are not only to influence our church but also our city and region by going after more of God.
