"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Romans 12:2

The Bridge

HERE, we provide a spiritual community for people in search of growth, healing, recovery, and a relationship with God. We believe that God will meet you where you are spiritually, will accept and love you unconditionally, and is in the process of leading you to become truly happy, joyous, and free because of His amazing grace and love for you! We believe that the Bible is both the Word of God and the source of the principles of the Twelve Steps. The Twelve Steps and the Bible are not separate paths for recovery; rather the twelve steps are condensed from the Bible to provide a spiritual pathway for recovery.

You won’t find a traditional church. What you will experience is love and acceptance in an informal meeting. We gather in a comfortable log cabin setting with a casual group of folks – who share a common purpose – to share His love and to make spiritual progress.  Here,  we recognize that we all have some level of thinking problems and that God wants to show us new ways to think (Romans 12:2). We believe that we make the most progress when we can share our experience, strength and hope, and ask questions while exploring the Life Recovery Bible together.  We believe it’s healthy and the way God intended “church” to be. People often find THE BRIDGE refreshing, fun and peaceful – we agree.

THE BRIDGE may me for you if:

  • You have a hurt, habit, or hang-up.

  • You feel your Higher Power tugging at your heart to return to God or to deepen your spiritual walk.

  • You want a better relationship with “The God of your Understanding” but don’t feel comfortable or accepted in traditional church settings.

  • You have little understanding of a “Higher Power” but have a willingness to learn.

  • You are suffering from Post Traumatic Church Syndrome (PTCS)

  • You want to be accepted and loved just as you are.

  • Maybe you’ve given up on God or have struggled with Hurts, Habits or Hang-ups during your life.
